What is SHAFFE?

• SHAFFE is a member-driven association representing fresh fruit growers and exporters in the Southern Hemisphere.
  
• SHAFFE has have membership from all significant Southern Hemisphere countries exporting fresh fruits, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, New Zealand, Peru, South Africa and Uruguay. Together, these countries produce 58 million tonnes of fruit and export over 7 million tonnes annually.
  
• SHAFFE is working to improve conditions for exporting fruit to the Northern Hemisphere.
  
• SHAFFE believes in a free-trade philosophy.
  
• SHAFFE is organised via a Brussels-based Secretariat.
  
• SHAFFE aims to promote cooperation among members and to further collective goals.
